🚇Transportation
① From Diamond Hill Station, take the 96R bus (service available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).

② From Sai Kung Pier, take the 94 bus (daily service).

③ From Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus, take the 289R bus (daily service).
(It is recommended to use GOOGLE MAP for route planning.)

Requires application for restricted area permit)** Parking spaces: Metered parking available. (However, since most boat trips are half-day/full-day activities, there is a chance of getting a ticket.)

🚿Shower Facilities
Wong Shek Pier has restrooms, and there is also the Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sports Centre nearby where you can shower.

🔒Locker Storage
There's no locker storage, it is advised to keep valuable items with you.

Check-in time: 15 minutes prior to tour starting time.

It is important that you arrive at Wong Shek Pier at your scheduled check in time. 

After confirmation of your booking manually by our customer service team, you are required to check in with our team in person at Wong Shek Pier.

Yes, if you're joining our Port Island Kayaking or Hiking Tour, these trips typically last more than 4 hours. It's up to your discretion whether you need to bring a light snack to keep you refreshed. We encourage you to bring an extra small bottle of water and have a meal before your tour. Although we don't provide lunch, bringing a snack is recommended to keep your energy levels up.

The length of your speedboat ride from Wong Shek Pier to Port Island is approximately 15 minutes. You'll get great views of the red coastline and the surrounding rock formations on the way, but the primary function of the ride is to provide access to the Port Island. 

If you are looking for an experience with a longer scenic speedboat ride with our fantastic tour guides, our Geopark Four Sea Arches Volcano Sightseeing Tour in Sai Kung is the perfect speedboat tour, providing a 90 minute on the speedboat admiring the world's largest hexagonal volcanic rock columns and four largest sea arches in east seas.

Due to the nature of the island, such as the uneven coast terrain, we do have some restrictions on the participation of children. These restrictions are in place to ensure the on-going safety of all our guests and team members.

Our most inclusive tour for children is our Port Island Encounter and Island Hopping Tour Port Island & Bluff Head, which can host kids as young as 6 years old.

As for our Port Island Hike and Port Island Kayaking, there are minimum age, weight and height requirements for children. Children must be of the age of 10. All children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian for the duration of the trip from check in until return to Wong Shek Pier after the tour.

The clothing you should wear depends on the nature of the activity you're participating in. Here are some guidelines for different types of tours:

Port Island Encounter, Island Hopping, and Hiking Tours

• Wear sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes that provide good support and traction.
• Long pants are recommended to protect your legs from scratches and sun exposure.
• Choose breathable, moisture-wicking clothing with built-in sun protection (UPF) to prevent sunburn. Long-sleeved shirts and pants are ideal.
• Bring a lightweight rain jacket or windbreaker, as weather conditions can change quickly.

Port Island Kayaking and Snorkeling Tours

• Wear comfortable swimwear that allows for ease of movement.
• Use aqua shoes with good grip to prevent slipping on wet surfaces.
• Wear sun-protective clothing, such as rash guards or swim shirts, to minimize sun exposure.
• For snorkeling activities, ensure you use reef-safe sunscreen that contains non-nano zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Avoid chemical sunscreens that can harm marine life.

Our Port Island tours are subject to cancellation due to various weather conditions. Strong winds that prevent speedboats from departing, as well as adverse weather such as rainstorms or thunderstorms, may require us to cancel or reschedule tours.
